Professional Background/Philosophy:

Reverend Don Kutz is an Ordained Minister, having served churches in the Methodist, Congregational and Christian denominations. He studied at Muskingum College, Oberlin and Vanderbilt University, where he received his Masters of Divinity.

Presently, Don Kutz pastors The First Christian Church in Laguna Hills.

What makes Reverend Kutz special?

The wedding service should be as special as possible for each couple. I place most of my emphasis on marriage as a relationship.

I try to be sensitive to be the wishes of each couple. I help them make their service as personal as possible. If a couple chooses to write their own wedding vows, I will assist them if they wish.

Couples differ greatly in preferences and taste. The service that would be appropriate for one couple might be entirely wrong for another. It is important to note the time of the year (different seasons or holidays) and the surroundings such as the ocean or mountains, or the beauty of a church sanctuary.

If it is an interfaith marriage or two people from different cultures I will share something of their different heritages.

The end result will be a ceremony that will be one of the most memorable days of your life. It will be about love - what it means to the both of you, and what hopes and dreams you share.
